The East Gipsy Band is made up by some of the established stars of the contemporary Hungarian jazz scene. 

The band plays real lively jazz, mostly hard-bop compositions of the '60s and '70s.

Singer Alma Bencze gifted with a beautiful voice and great feeling who was invited to the legendary 606 Club in London is now presenting her favorite jazz standards to the audience of the Budapest Jazz Club and the Harmony Jazz Workshop.

As one of the most musically educated singers in Hungary, Urbán Orsi is acclaimed amongst musicians country-wide and over the borders as well.

With two fantastic albums and two brilliantly successful gigs at London’s legendary 606 Club behind her, Vörös Niki, one of Hungary’s very best, is a true jazz singer, the real thing, who is capable of turning any tune into high quality jazz.

Juhász Gábor is an astonishingly versatile musician, he can be heard as a sideman on some of the most interesting recordings made in Hungary.
