ENCORE!: Eszter Balla and Swing á la Django - "Budapest secrets"

"Encore!" in a new series launched under the title, outstanding personalities of the Hungarian theater appear on a monthly basis with their musical performances dreamed up for the stage of the BJC. In the club's new, thematic series, the invited artists are given free rein regarding the program of the evenings, moreover, the undisclosed purpose of the series is for the invited artists to shape their special productions, often heard and seen for the first time, according to their own taste.

In actress Eszter Balla’s and Swing à la Django’s theatrical concert night, we can learn about many of Budapest’s legends, from the story of professional prostitutes employed by the police during the Kádár regime and today’s Mambo Bar, to the mysterious death of actress Gizi Bajor and the secrets of the Körszálló — all accompanied by lots of music, with both well-known and rarely heard songs.
