Although the Weisz siblings have been playing together in smaller and larger formations since childhood, they first gave a joint author's evening in the Marble Hall of the Hungarian Radio in the spring of 2013. The existence of the band dates back to this time. The presentation of their new material, completed in 2016, also took place in the Marble Hall, which was followed by further concerts in jazz clubs in Budapest and the countryside, as well as at festivals.
The band's sound is shaped by the triple unity of jazz, classical music, and folk music, based on a rather honest and unique soundscape. They are characterized by the fresh and free-spirited performance of their compositions: they often play in a trio or duo formation. The instrumentation is also very diverse, sometimes expressly light, at other times experimental or contemporary elements can be discovered in it, but occasionally it is not without humor that even tends towards the grotesque. The compositions in the ensemble's repertoire were created with deep musical sophistication, and the large dynamic differences make the sound even more colorful, combined with individual solos.
Gábor Weisz – saxophone, fluvte, János Weisz – piano, Ádám Sárdi – bass, Dávid Szegő – drum, percussions
