Barabás Lőrinc Quartet
The band, originally founded in 2015, was completely renewed in 2021. The new members of the formation are their old musical partner, trumpeter-composer Lőrinc Barabás, but the freshness of their collaboration is absolutely palpable on the recordings. Their music is characterized by groovy rhythms, dynamic bass and keyboard runs, while the trumpet playing is mostly reminiscent of the improvisational jazz fusion world of the 70s.
