FIDELIO Jazz Night: Bálint Gyémánt & Mike Gotthard Duo

Bálint Gyémánt and Mike Gotthard are defining figures of their generation and although they have primarily fulfilled themselves in different musical genres, their thinking and endless commitment to music have been a common connection throughout their careers. They know each other from the Jazz Department of the University of Music, they speak the language of jazz and improvised music at a native level, and this year both of their own productions gave a sold-out concert at the Palace of Arts.

The BJC audience will be able to experience the unique musical encounter of the two for the first time. In addition to their own compositions and jazz standards, they will also rework the songs of their common favorite, Jimi Hendrix, at their concert.
