Gábor Szalay is the outstanding Hungarian exponent of bebop guitar with his highly harmonic and incredibly swinging approach. With his extremely modest personality he lets the music speak for itself instead of showboating.

After the successful weekend jam sessions, Budapest Jazz Club now welcomes everyone to the new Thursday jams!

In previous years, Árpád Tzumo performed with such great American stars as Wayne Shorter, Terence Blanchard or Kenny Garrett. The artist, who is also successful abroad, could learn the tricks of jazz piano playing from a keyboard player of no lesser stature than Herbie Hancock.

Each Wednesday, a different trio of talented young musicians is in charge of good vibes, and they welcome the audience to take part in their game.
