Budapest Orchestra Project is Hungary's youngest professional big band. Since it's inception three years ago the ensemble has performed sold-out concerts at almost all major venues in Budapest.

Anything can happen on the weekend jam nights when the most popular Hungarian musicians create random formations and play true bebop to entertain the audience.

In previous years, Árpád Tzumo performed with such great American stars as Wayne Shorter, Terence Blanchard or Kenny Garrett. The artist, who is also successful abroad, could learn the tricks of jazz piano playing from a keyboard player of no lesser stature than Herbie Hancock.
