Anything can happen on the weekend jam nights when the most popular Hungarian musicians create random formations and play true bebop to entertain the audience.

The formation, including five brilliant musicians, plays songs of the one and only John Coltrane as well as original material.

The Elemer Balázs Group, one of Hungary’s most popular jazz band was founded in 2000 by Elemér Balázs, the internationally widely recognized and popular jazz drummer.

Balázs Varga received the Dezső Ablakos Lakatos Performing Arts Award in 2020, and in the same year he won the first place in the composer's competition organized by Müpa Budapest. He plays in a quintet with the talents of the young generation in his own band. In his series running at the BJC, he regularly calls star guests, and tonight an audience favourite, Nikolas Takács, will join the band.

Gereben Zita’s velvety voice and personal onstage presence ensure an unforgettable evening. 

Finucci Bros’ new project is to cover the works of Hungarian music legends. This night, they will perform the music of legendary songstress Zsuzsa Cserháti with Vera Tóth, one of the greatest Hungarian singers.

USEME will present its acoustic record at the BJC on April 17th.

The drummer-composer Balázs Bágyi is one of the prominent figures in the Hungarian jazz scene, regularly performing abroad as well. He has been leading his own bands since his twenties.
