The Budapest Jazz Orchestra, comprising solely jazz musicians, was created in October 1998.

The Elemer Balázs Group, one of Hungary’s most popular jazz band was founded in 2000 by Elemér Balázs, the internationally widely recognized and popular jazz drummer.

Áron Tálas, the multi-award winning young Hungarian pianist is already making a real name for himself in his homeland, which, given the remarkable standard of jazz piano playing out there, says a great deal for his impressive talent.
