The phenomenal British pianist Tim Lapthorn leads one of the best piano trios in the UK and also plays piano in groups led by, amongst others, singer Ian Shaw, bassist Arnie Somogyi (Ambulance featuring Eddie Henderson), saxophonist Frank Griffith and, BBC Jazz Award Nominee, singer Polly Gibbons.

The members play their own songs varoiusly on their own and other intruments. 

This new band plays music from the “Golden jazz era”, in particular, hit songs from Louis Armstrong, Bobby Hackett, Duke Ellington and Benny Goodman. Their first album was released a year ago. 

Once one starts evaluating a musician, it is almost impossible to make it short.
