The  Etűd  Conservatoire  and  Music  School’s most talented students will be on stage with jazz standards.

At the LFZE Student Ball, the main role is played by the liberated atmosphere. After a series of informal conversations, the video of the last freshman camp sets the mood, but during the evening there will also be an opportunity to buy a raffle.

Having made his mark on the Hungarian jazz world before the age of 20, he went to Holland to further to studies where he was tutored by the world’s leading jazzmen, like Miguel Zenon, Branford Marsalis, Gerard Presencer and Brad Mehldau, just to name a few.

Reinterpretation of sephardic, Middle-Eastern songs with the touch of jazz - that’s the best way to sum up their music. 

Even we were taken by surprise by the immense success of our Summer Jam Session events. Therefore, we decided to continue the series throughout the year with groovy and funky sounds. Each Wednesday BJC Beat Jam will present you the most mind-blowing side of jazz.

In this Hungarian improvisational theatre play, two teams face eachother to form a complete story with just a few words. You can enjoy it without understanding the language.

Gereben Zita’s velvety voice and personal onstage presence ensure an unforgettable evening. 

These two musicians will present the bohemian side of Budapest with some evergreen melodies.

The Elemer Balázs Group, one of Hungary’s most popular jazz band was founded in 2000 by Elemér Balázs, the internationally widely recognized and popular jazz drummer.
