With the establishment of the Szakcsi Jazz Association, contemporaries and friends remember the greatest Hungarian jazz pianist of his time, Béla Szakcsi Lakatos.

For decades, the band has been consistently and confidently pursuing its own path with an individual blend of Hungarian folk music and Afroamerican jazz. 

The band plays cool jazz in really cool way.

The amusing way they perform evergreens and standards attracts a huge audience every month, and has a large number of frequenters.

FAT-SUIT are one of Scotland's most interesting bands. Rob Adams of the Herald reviewd a recent gig and summed up the band's ethos with the phrase "(a) sheer collective sonic search".
