After its launch in 2007, the Budapest Jazz Club quickly became a well-known, nationally and internationally renowned venue, a musical venue, and then a vibrant cultural center. In addition to jazz concerts, the programs also include theater productions and family programs.

For nearly twenty years, Szakcsi Lakatos Béla, a gem of the Hungarian jazz world who passed away in 2022, performed at the season-opening concerts of the Harmónia Jazz Workshop. From now on, we dedicate each season opener to his memory, with his two sons shaping the vast musical legacy according to their individual tastes.

Tzumo Gypsy Dreams presents us with a complex and exciting musical world in which the latest compositions of 'Tzumo’, based on the ‚roma’ soundscape with African-American, flamenco and oriental style features, but dressed in the guise of jazz, are played.

Each Wednesday, a different trio of talented young musicians is in charge of good vibes, and they welcome the audience to take part in their game.
