Krisztián Oláh divided the pieces into four concerts based on their sources of inspiration in the “4x4 Sessions” series. In the “5x5” series, marking the fifth anniversary of the band, five more abstract but highly relevant musical ideas and concepts form the theme of the concerts.

Each Wednesday, a different trio of talented young musicians is in charge of good vibes, and they welcome the audience to take part in their game.

These Wednesdays are random because the leader of the project, Barabás Lőrinc invites well-known characters of the contemporary Hungarian jazz scene to create something amazing in the form of a jam session.

Saxophonist Iain Ballamy, who burst into the spotlight in the 1980s and now a star of ECM. He was the first jazz musician to win the Paul Hamlyn Composer Award. The award-winning pianist-composer Dániel Szabó, who is highly respected both at home and abroad, has released numerous successful jazz albums in collaboration with world-renowned artists such as Peter Erskine, Chris Potter, and Kurt Rosenwinkel.
