Gergő Borlai and Zsolt Kaltenecker have been making music together in countless formations since 1996, and after many years of hiatus, they saw the time had come to create together again, but the concept became a more up-to-date performance of their best songs, both in instrumentation and playing.

Starting from the traditional big band genre, the Budapest Jazz Orchestra accompanied the development of jazz from the 1920s to contemporary jazz in its productions.
